1st September 2026 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Tuesday 1st September - walks **** – Around Felixstowe – sunny. Walk 1 – sunrise along Felixstowe prom with Mag. I joined Mag on her early morning prom walk leaving our son Rob and Grandson Arlo up for a visit from Devon in bed Walk 2 – The Dip at Felixstowe with Rob, Arlo, Maeva and Mag :) With everyone up Mag made pancakes for all, Arlos favourite before going to pick up our Granddaughter Maeva for the day so she can play with Arlo, despite their age difference, Arlo is 9 and Maeva 3 they get on like a house on fire hugely helped by Maevas ability to talk the hind legs off a donkey! With Rob working from home I packed a picnic and parked at our windsurfing car park at The Dip for a picnic in the van and were joined by Rob who biked down! We then went on a brilliant walk along the prom with the tide high and crashing up the steps playing beach hut hide and seek and collecting all manner of shells and pebbles! Photo Album here |
